Launch of the ACCURATE study (UroCCR no. 99)

The first study of the RHU Digital Urology 3D programme — ACCURATE (UroCCR No. 99) — was officially launched on January 5, 2023.
Conducted by Grenoble University Hospital Centre, the study aims to evaluate the 3D Image-Guided Robotic-Assisted Partial Nephrectomy (3D-IGRAPN) technique developed by Prof. Jean-Christophe Bernhard and his team at Bordeaux University Hospital Centre.

Focusing on kidney tumours of moderate to high complexity, the study will assess the technique’s efficacy, safety, and impact on renal function in comparison to standard surgical approaches.

The study is currently being carried out across 13 centres within the UroCCR network, with a total of 694 patients expected to be enrolled throughout the 2 years inclusion period.
