Professor Jean-Christophe Bernhard, coordinator of I.CaRe Bordeaux programme, has been honoured with an invitation to serve as a visiting professor in the Department of Urology at Juntendo University, Tokyo, under the aegis of Professor Shigeo Horie.

The week was rich in exchanges and provided an opportunity to share experiences in image-guided robotic surgery, in particular with Dr Shuji Isotani and his team. The discussions focused on innovative approaches to robot-assisted partial nephrectomy, the management of kidney cancer, and future prospects for research and innovation in this field.

This meeting confirms I.CaRe Bordeaux‘s desire to strengthen international collaborations around kidney cancer, in particular with Juntendo University and the French national UroCCR network.
