specific objective of the project. <strong>Work Package 1 (WP1) is dedicated to the development and evaluation of new virtual 3D solutions for image-guided surgery, with a particular focus on robot-assisted partial nephrectomy.<\/strong> By integrating the latest <strong>virtual <\/strong>and <strong>augmented reality<\/strong> technologies, WP1 aims to guide, optimise, and secure surgical procedures using 3D software and patient-specific anatomical models.  <\/p><p>&#8211;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div technique<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ab17091 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1ab17091\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The first phase involves the assessment of the <strong>3D Image-Guided Robotic-Assisted Partial Nephrectomy (3D-IGRAPN) technique<\/strong>, developed by Prof. Jean-Christophe Bernhard and his team at Bordeaux University Hospital Centre. This led to the multicentre randomised clinical study ACCURATE (UroCCR No. 99), launched in 2023 and coordinated by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chu-grenoble.fr\/\"><u>Grenoble University Hospital Centre<\/u><\/a>. The study is being conducted nationwide across France and will run until 2027.  <\/p><p>This evaluation targets kidney tumours of moderate to high complexity, with the aim of<strong> comparing the efficacy, safety, and renal function preservation<\/strong> of surgeries performed with and without the 3D-IGRAPN technique. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4a4bbab6 elementor-widget-mobile__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"4a4bbab6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Evolution of 3D-IGRAPN technique<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ecfc3e0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1ecfc3e0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In the second phase, the validated 3D-IGRAPN technique will be enhanced using a dedicated <strong>augmented reality software and algorithm<\/strong>, developed and tested in pre-clinical studies.<\/p><p>This tool, specifically designed for robotic laparoscopic kidney surgery, will enable the overlay of the patient\u2019s 3D model\u2014previously generated with Fujifilm\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/synapse-emea.fujifilm.com\/synapse-3d.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Synapse 3D<\/a> software\u2014directly onto the surgical view. The tumour and surrounding anatomical structures will be clearly visualised to help guide and optimise the procedure.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-87a06dd elementor-widget-mobile__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"87a06dd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Evaluation of the new technology<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7144823 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7144823\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The final phase involves a monocentric study\u2014UroCCR No. 112\u2014 conducted at Bordeaux University Hospital Centre. This study will include 40 patients and aims to evaluate the <strong>accuracy, reliability, and performance<\/strong> of the augmented reality tool, while also defining its <strong>optimal use
