Young Scientist Poster Award for Camille Courtine at ECIS Conference

Camille Courtine Wins Young Scientist Poster Award at ECIS Conference for participating to the realisation of 3D biomimetic kidney models.

Camille Courtine, postdoctoral researcher at the Paul Pascal Research Centre, was awarded the prize for the best poster for Young Scientists (<PhD + 7 years) sponsored by Elsevier during the European Colloid & Interface Society (ECIS) conference, held in Naples from September 3 to 8, 2023.

Under the supervision of Olivier Mondain-Monval, Camille Camille plays a key role in Work Package 3 (WP3) of the Digital Urology 3D project. The objective of this WP is to develop 3D biomimetic kidney models (in terms of mechanical characteristics and perfusion capacities). These models aim to serve as advanced tools for surgeon training and for simulating surgical strategies ahead of complex procedures.

Camille Courtine’s recognition at ECIS underscores both her individual excellence and her important contribution to a project with the potential to transform not only urological surgery, but also broader medical practice.
